A few weeks ago we discussed the great John Carpenter and his films. Toward the end of that show, Scott and I agreed that we needed to go back and watch some of these (all of these) with Fresh Eyes. As you may be aware, Fresh Eyes is when we watch a movie that we want to talk about but the rule is that you have to watch it from beginning to end as if seeing it for the first time. Setting these parameters somehow makes you notice things you never noticed before, or question things that you maybe just took for granted.
